The van now very officially belongs to someone else.

It's apparently driving just fine for him so far. Perhaps the van simply wanted another owner. I'm good with that, cuz ya know, I got two hundred bucks out of it.

Tomorrow night is the MTG tournament. I think I might go, at least for a few minutes anyway. Then I'll go to walmart and pick up some stuff we need at home. Maybe someone who gets knocked out in the first round will be bored and want to play with me ^^;

Then Saturday I'm going to the movies with Megan YAYZ!

New Adventures

I think I sold the van. I say "think" only because it hasn't actually changed hands yet, but it will. I spent today cleaning it out and tearing up Nana's room for the title. I'm only gettin $200 for it, but hey, it barely runs and will have to be towed away. So yeah, I think that's pretty good. Also, it'll put me THAT much closer to 2k for a car of my own.

I plan on having some adventures as soon as that happens, one of which is (hopefully) going to Jamp-con in Chattanooga in May with Matilda. It'll be new and different from AZ, and also hella cheaper. And there's a live band. I love live music, no matter what kind. I might dress up too- I have my pattern for it and everything.

Soooooooooooooo you guys should totally come too.

Thanks for the feedback. I liked the red one too, but it was way too short in the back- I has some serious ass-hangning-out issues. The green one fit really well, but both of them are over $50 and I highly doubt I'll actually be going out in public, so I likely won't be getting either one.

It was nice to pretend, though.

Uhhh, so nothing much has happened around here. I bought a Wii, did I tell ya'll that? I don't really have any games for it except what I've downloaded (omg, so many geekgasms over that), so there's not much happening with that either. Though I am saving up for a WiiFit. Maybe I can talk Nana into paying for half of it. Maybe.

Other than that, I've been collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! cards like a dork. Yah, I dunno, it's just sucked me in. I've even been watching 5D's on Cartoon Network.

Shut up.

Wouldn't be so bad except Matilda seems to be ignoring me again. I dunno what it is, she'll be talkative for like a week, then I won't hear from her for over a month. Whatever, she'll pop up again and by then I may have an even better deck.

I've also been knitting like crazy and have learned to crochet. I've made doilies. Yep. I've reached that stage in my life already. Making doilies while a cat sleeps in my lap.

Sick Doggies and Flubbed Plans

We had so much planned to get done this weekend, mostly revolving around the dog pen outside. I managed to get the roof over the new section, but I don't have Ozzy's house finished and it doesn't look like I'll get that done until tomorrow afternoon. For those of you who don't know, I had to rush Ozzy to the vet last thursday because...well...long story short, he was being eaten by maggots. I brought him home today and he's healing well, but he has open wounds that we'll have to keep clean twice a day and I know he's hurtin a lot. We were gonna keep him outside while me and momma were at work, but keep him inside while we're home, but that plan is flubbed. He's too weak to be moving back and forth from the house to the dog lot, so he's just oing to have to stay inside and we'll just have to clean up whatever mess he makes.

Right now he's laying up against the couch (he really wants to be on it, and that would be fine, but he can't lift his legs far enough to get up there), and resting, though he won't close his eyes. Hopefully he's finally go to sleep and I can take him out on the porch to potty after he wakes up.

Rorscha, by the way, has no idea what to think about the whole situation. She'll sneak up and sniff him now and then, but whenever he decides to walk around, she hides up on top of the fridge.

I'm gonna let Sammy out of his crate and see if he can be controlled enough to leave Ozzy alone. I'll update ya'll later.
